Sunday at Aldswold

Well, let's see if we can get the ball rolling again. Life at 6 Aldswold:
After a cold and rainy week, the summer returned unexpectedly. It was hot on Shabbos and on Motzei Shabbos we all swam in the pool. The children did this morning again and also this afternoon. The pool looks really inviting; after some really hard work by Mendel, Never and myself it has returned to color blue instead of the previous hue which matched the lawn perfectly.
Mendel rode in the 94.7 Cycle race this morning, along with his classmates and completed most of it. A huge rain and hailstorm made him stop. He is off to Pecanwood for a couple of days with his friends in a few minutes.
Mommy is in the kitchen talking to Batsheva on the phone
Ita is sitting next to her eating a penguin pie
Shmuli & Betzalel are on the computer
Chaim is playing with his Samsung cellphone , with which he has been reunited after it went through the wash cycle, several months drying up and a week in Darro's electronic workshop - finally working again!
So that's as far as the Jo'burg Chaikins....
